This must be the part of your programming where you pretend the Republicans don't do the exact same thing when it suits them.
They threaten. They don’t actually shutdown the govt by not allowing a clean CR that would temporarily keep spending at exact same levels as before the shutdown while negotiations keep happening on a longer term spending bill for the govt.

The current government shutdown, which began on Oct. 1, is the first in American history triggered by the refusal to pass a clean continuing resolution.
…In fact, there were 13 clean continuing resolutions (CRs) passed under Biden thanks to Republican votes.
When faced with the choice between political brinkmanship and responsible governance, Republicans chose to be adults.

No shite, that's obvious. That's what a pussy would do. Stand there and watch

That makes sense now. This guy has nothing wrong with him but always brags about the extra check he’s getting from the military. The job we do, you have to be physically fit. And he only did 4 years and got out.

It wasn’t that long ago when the record was broken. It was actually the most recent federal government shutdown in late 2018 and early 2019 that endured for 35 days, easily becoming the longest our country had seen.
Maga just taking L after L in this thread

Got anything in the arsenal beyond middle-school cafeteria comebacks, or is that the full playbook?

While not inline exactly with the first post, this was a story I wanted to share.
We had a good soldier in my unit whose tolerance for BS was so small it couldn't be measured with modern scientific instruments. He had a wife and small child and re-enlisted after his first 3 years. He also had a certification as a diesel mechanic before joining the army.
After his original enlistment date passed, his paycheck didn't show up. He was patient and complained up the chain of command to his NCO's. A month goes by, his PAYCHECKS doesn't show up.
The following day, Specialist Davenport wasn't in the formation. A few days later our platoon sergeant and squad leader find him at a local shop working on a diesel truck. He'd found another job.
They told him "You are AWOL, we are going to do....". He interrupted them and said "I quit being a soldier when you decided to quit paying me. Start paying me again and I might show up, you guys dropped the ball not me. I have a wife and child to feed, screw off."
A few days later Spc. Davenport showed back up in formation and not another word was spoken about it.

If by "cut federal subsidies" you mean "allow enhanced subsidies to end on the date the democrats planned for them to end when they created them" then yes, that's actually happening.
The Dems controlled the White Hiuse, House and Senate under Autopen, why didn’t they fix this solution when they controlled everything? The Obamacare was their baby they created and put expirations on. And now they are blaming Republicans for their frick up and shutting down the government.
Can anyone say otherwise?

I'd ask you the same, but we've already determined your manhood. You gonna hang out and just take these half arse pot shots or say something of substance?

If they did that it couldn’t be used to rally voters later

I already answered that question. Should I repeat it?

You know anyone on Obamacare? Ask them how much of an increase they’re seeing for their 2026 premiums. 26% increase on average thanks to the big beautiful bill which cut federal subsidies to the states.
The BBB added penalties on any state that funds illegals on Medicaid which the Dems said never happens so shouldn’t be an issue.
The covid subsidies for Obamacare that are ending Dec 31st and kept in the clean CR passed by the House are actually ending on the exact date in the bill passed by Dems to extend the covid Obamacare subsidies when Biden’s Autopen was President and the Dems controlled both chambers of Congress back in 2022.
Covid and the covid shutdowns and restrictions are long over. The covid subsidies for Obamacare shouldn’t have been extended 3 years until the end of 2025, but the Dems extended them (but only for 3 years not indefinitely). Dems just want to make increases to welfare programs like these covid subsidies and other covid reduced restrictions on work requirements for able bodied adults without dependents and other lowered requirements for SNAP the new normal. They also want to use this to force the removal of the penalties on states funding illegals to use Medicaid.
Even though the subsidies are kept untouched just as the Dems voted for in 2022 in the clean CR the Dems are still willing to shutdown the govt and welfare to force the Republicans to do what they didn’t do in 2022 and to also stop penalties on Medicaid spending on illegals which they say never happens.

It's almost as if they knew darn well that a Republican might be in office and this could be used to try to hang said Republican for "raising your health insurance costs by taking away your subsidies"... and if it WAS a democrat in office, they'd simply extend them again at that time. Strange, huh?

Might as well, there many be some here who aren't aware of your lack of manhood.

When you can’t argue with reality, I guess all that’s left is projecting your insecurities onto strangers online. Which is an interesting tactic coming from someone who’s obviously hiding behind his new alter (my guess is EarlyCuyler)

Do we pay our military with American Express Travelers Cheques?

I would only accept that is it’s a flat check that would be the sum of my t&p for a 20 year period
