These “glorified medics” are part of the reason myself and a few others are alive, and it had nothing to do with bandages or medicine.
These men are professional warriors. Don’t disrespect what you know little about.

Agreed, what’s the point of it being considered special operations if SOCOM has like 15-20,000 people in it?

You’re a lot more well read on the topic than I and have a much better understanding than I do; but it seems to me like the Marine Corps really doesn’t need to have a special operations group when you consider what the USMC as a whole is tasked with. But if the DoN insists on having a SO command, then it should go to the department that is tasked with amphibious operations of the USN.

I didn’t disrespect them. If that’s what you took from my post you lack reading comprehension. I’m sorry, but they’re just medics who can shoot good. Just like 18D’s and Navy Seal Corpsmen. I never said they were unprofessional or incapable. But lest be real, they’re existence is redundant and a waste of money.

I think it's the word "just" that rubs him. A little bit of a put down maybe.

I didn't think much of medics until I saw one trying to get to someone during a fire fight. It takes balls even at the lowest levels.

I was in 3/75, so he didn’t put me down. But it came across as disrespectful to some tough arse PJs I saw in action.

Two completley different groups. The MACV-SOG in Vietnam were a military group. Army to be exact. The SOG I am talking about is the Special Operations Group which is in the SAC/SAD in the CIA.

If the CIA wants someone dead SOG is who do it and the government will not claim them.

PJs are glorified medics. All the other elite units have medics that are just as well trained as they are. The only reason they deploy with other SOF forces is to give them something to do.

This is complete unadulterated bullchit and a prime example of the basic arse, prototypical white guy tigerdroppings BaLlEr running his inbred, acid-breath mouth about chit you don't know anything about except what your friend down at the Stihl dealership told you that day you financed your overkill-sized lawnmower for 96 months so you can brag about it on Facebook and the home and garden board.

I don't care if you have over FIFTY-SIX THOUSAND posts: Kindly sit down and STFU boy.

(And btw, if you don't slow your apparently sedentary arse down, momma is gonna be taking your twinky-dicked arse to the ortho clinic for carpal tunnel syndrome therapy.)

A very close family member is a PJ, and since I won't stoop allll the way down to your level to prove that your garbage mouth spits garbage information, and since your "level" is lower than whale chit, and since trying to enlighten you and your hard arse ignorant head and your badarse OT persona would be as hard as a brick wall, I'll just say this:

When your bitch arse takes an rpg to the FACE and comes back from it and serves again 6 months later, when your TD's hard arse performs SAR in snow covered mountains, executes (and trains other SF branches) HALO and HAHO missions, when your Chad-legged arse can scuba dive like a PJ and then peel that chit off and perform forward offensive attacks on the enemy and then pull the injured out, when you're sitting your decrepit arse in Arizona at 10 PM and then find yourself repelling down a cable from a Pave Hawk less than 24 hours later in the Congo and then commence to skull dragging some warlord arse so that you can evacuate a pinned-down SFs unit,

then holler at me.

Until then, keep taking blood pressure meds and keep ya mouth shut.

Your arse would do well to make it from the deep fryer to the commode, let alone make it through Superman School (Google it with your fat cheeto-covered fingers).

But since the internet is infested with lazy arse individuals with so many of them converging here, and since a half dozen other individuals think like you, I'll put the link up and then you can come back and tell me how PJs are "gLoRiFiEd MeDiCs, hurr-hurr": Glorified Medic School Wikipedia

You don't know a PJ, I do, and ol boy lemme tell ya something: You also don't know what the f*ck you talking about.

So ya know what that means?

It means your a gotdayum fool.

Why? Because only a fool speaks of that which he does not know, and then does so on his own supposed, "authority."

The stupidity here abounds; the cup overfloweth with jackassery,

and you, sir, are the tip of the gotdayum spear.

I never said they weren’t tough or good at what they do. But there’s no reason for them to exist. Do the Rangers not have capable medics? Did you ever wonder why you had PJs on missions with you? Because the reason is they literally have nothing else to do so they tag along with everyone else even though everyone else already has their own medics.

Don't tell Mr. Bad Arse Fifty-Six Thousand Posts that, he'll have a bad day tomorrow when he wakes up at 12 PM, and momma don't like for baby boy to have a bad day.

I'm no expert by a far sight but i knew a green beret and he talk about some interesting stuff.

He told me shite like the green berets, seals, marine force recon and whatever else all go through essentially the same training but have different missions. He told me he did his water training with the dutch marines and that shite was tough he said.

He was water trained in things as well. He was trained for instance on how to launch from torpedo tubes and shite like that.

You gotdayum right he did.

I got family, FAMILIA, who gave his flesh and blood for this country and who is a PJ,

I don't GAF if he's a TD hotshot, he a disrespectful cat-dicked internet jackass who disrespected that sacrifice.

Sometimes chit is real, even if it is on a stupid arse we forum.
