Sorry, SF, they're the best of the best. When we have to have a no fail mission, they get the call.

We saw them on Bragg every now and then jumping roads and fire breaks in the flash of an eye. At least we think they were Delta. The Delta Compound was always a site to see, NEVER any movement of evidence of existence. Went to jump school with several SEALS that were getting their basic Airborne training. They weren’t pussies.

Absolutely, they go through the toughest training. More skills, etc....

Marine Recon are just as capable
did 4 yrs in 1st Force Recon at camp Der Mar back in the early 90's long story short did a westpac on the USS Tarawa anyway they had a SEAL team on board, dont remember which one but they woke up a couple of us up in the middle of the night to go to the back of the ship (somewhere in middle of the damn pacific) they had tied off a zodiac and about 100+ yards of the stern and where basically kneeboarding in the wake
just remember thinking "these MFers are truly crazy"
We did a lot of training with them and i have nothing but respect but they have a more broad spectrum of mission types and thats not debatable
guess you could say Recon is Marines first and specops second. SEALs are specops first, last, and all through the middle

Understand this, each of them have specific skills and mission types. If you think any of the training is not tough you are mistaken.

Not trolling, SEALS are the most elite fighting force in the American military.

You ignore the second part of my comment that you stated.

Does Buds not have a higher fail rate?
Posted on 8/1/19 at 9:14 pm to TT9
Bc they allow more people to enter that would not qualify for Delta.

And yet, all of the groups answer to the same command structure.

For posterity sake, one American team that never gets mentioned in these threads but that is undeniably Tier 1 is the FBI HRT. They are filled with ex-DEVGRU and Delta.
And they have a near unlimited budget...all the cool toys, etc.

Since where in the monthly military thread. Does anyone know if MARSOC actually does anything? I never hear anything about those dudes and I've never really seen them in my travels. Do they get missions?
