He's also rocking EOD

This thread led to me reading the Delta wiki page and when people say you'd never guess who they are they ain't lying. This baw in the white shirt looks like an accountant but he's actually one of the founding members of Delta:
Larry Vickers is the same way. A fat dude with a goatee who wears generic polo shirts.

It is pretty rare to see a master EOD badge on the same uniform as a CIB, though.

I bet selection was similar to Vickers' experience.
Before Vickers was allowed to begin training for a Delta operator position, he had to pass an entrance exercise. The premise was simple: complete a land-navigation course in the mountains of West Virginia. Alone, with a 40-pound rucksack over an 18-mile course. And the time limit to complete this task was only known by test administrators. The students are simply told at the end of the course whether they are good to go or not.
After the full Delta-course training is complete and the enlisted service member is ready to graduate, there is one ?nal test – another land-navigation course, again in the mountains of West Virginia. But this time it’s 40 miles with a 45-pound pack and the time is, again, unknown to the candidate. Go or no-go is all you get at the end. The failure rate during the course is high; estimates are as high as 95 percent, but o?cial numbers are never given.

Would EOD only be eligible for the CAB?

I'd imagine seeing a star on jump wings is fairly rare as well

He should go to Reggie's just for fun.
There are college kids and randoms that can still beat the frick out of that guy and others in those units
That isnt the point. The point is he wouldnt get in that situation. He would simply kill you and your cat as you slept and make it look like your cat murdered you and then your cat committed suicide out of grief

That is, or was, part of the selection. Read the book, “The Men, The Mission & Me”. Pete Blaber. Pete was an officer with CAG during Operation Anaconda and in Iraq. He describes the same scenario.

I wonder how much time they have to spend in the pool. Water is the great equalizer.

I think alot of people mistake these guys as brute strength monsters of men that can beat any other man to death with their pinky
That aint what makes these guys elite.

I don’t recall him mentioning but I want to say I’ve heard that all CAG guys must complete Combat Dive School in Key West.
He never insinuates that they are the best at anything, but it’s inferred they are really good at a lot more than almost anyone as individuals and as a team.
