That 4 way stop on 80/19 has a ton of little venders selling random things outside of Trade Days, too. Wow. Scary.

Next up is a shitload of boats and mobile homes thrown around at lakes Fork and Tawakoni. Texas A&M COmmerce further north. I vaguely recall a big-arse tornado once in Sulphur Springs.

I hate weather hype - especially since this is a true tornado on the ground.

There's a hill there called Pickens Spur where the FM road cuts to the left and 175 continues to Eustace. Probably there.

Reports of people trapped in debris in northern Henderson County along FM 2709 (whichever the one is that goes from Eustace to 19).

a tornado's wind field is quite a bit wider than the actual condensation funnel you can visually see

As the storm tracks northeastward, the tornado threat actually seems to be moving southerly, along the cold front line.

That means Palestine, Crockett, Lufkin might be in for a long night.

My wife, mom, and sister are at first Monday and they were all sent to a bathroom building and locked in with a crowd of people for about an hour. She's heading to her hotel now and says there is a good bit of damage.
