Let's hope we get another one at all.

Sadly, there are a large number of Tigers in captivity, most of which are in much, much worse cages/environments than the one we have at LSU.

But lets enjoy Roscoe before talking about his replacement. This is such shitty news.

Good point,

JBE isn't going to allow us to get another Bengal tiger. He doesn't even want us to have football.

Damn.

First time I met Roscoe he was a little pup (I think you called young tigers that). They were walking him around on a leash in this roped off area before a football game. We got to pet him and give him a treat. It was like a big ole puppy.

Obviously he'd probably eat me now

This is such terrible news.

Wrong Tiger or you are lying. We got Roscoe from a rescue shelter in (Indiana?) He was 2 years old and about 300 lbs.

Exactly. Go after that truck stop before going after a university with one of the best habitats and vet programs in the nation.

The Louisiana State University tiger mascot, Mike VI, was born July 23, 2005, and came to LSU when he was two years old. At the time of his arrival at LSU, he weighed 320 pounds. Mike currently weighs about 420 pounds. His weight cycles throughout the year. He weighs most in the summer and least in the winter.

The other Mike's we got a cubs, so very well could be one of those. My uncle said they used to bring Mike 2 or 3 out to the quad to play while he was little.

He was 320ish when they got him, and two years old.

And pretty sure tiger cubs are called cubs, not pups.
