My wife had a cancerous tumor under her tongue. They cut out part of her tongue and all 12 lymph nodes on that side of her neck. fricking trerrible. No chemo, but the radiation treatments liked to have killed her. But she's been cancer free for 3 years now.

Good luck.

OP, you can beat it. A niece of mine had stage 4 colon cancer that had spread to other parts. She went under the knife, did the treatments. After 4 years, she still here and as of yesterday, she was cancer free. Oh, she is only 36.

P&G if you're still in BHAM there is an ENT Dr. at UAB who is one of the best.
Ive worked with him during TORS procedures. And he is phenomenal.
His name is Dr. Paul Castellanos. I've seen him do some amazing things with throat cancer.
Just thought I would share.

Good luck and God bless.

I vomit after eating constantly and it's just really bad acid-reflux.

Same with me. Was working in Huntersville, NC and had to go to the hospital twice because I couldn't keep anything down. Thought it was stomach bug, but they finally put me on some bad arse acid blockers. After a week, I was back to normal. Still have to take them after an acidic meal such as red sauce, or BBQ. I think I lost 25 lbs in 2 weeks. Couldn't even drink water without it coming up.

Good luck, and I hope it's something as simple as that.

Start eating an acid free diet. Google why if you have time.

Honestly, I'd rather eat a dry aged ribeye, a bottle of good red, grilled asparagus, a salt rubbed baked potato and half a loaf of crunchy baguette with olive salad.

Then go out on my pier, watch the moon set over the lake and have a nice bullet go through my head.

Seriously though, good luck and if it is something I hope they caught it early enough.

35 is way too young to not fight.

Get to MD Anderson if it turns out to be a malignancy. Their head and neck department, and all departments, is awesome. I had squamous cell tumor on side of tongue. They cut it out and I got all clear margins. Lymph nodes were removed as well, no spread. Good luck.
