Not even close. This happened a block away from Broad which is the hood. Finns is at least 20 blocks away.

What a shame to see someone lose their life to a well known criminal. The kid is so well Known that The police have this kid on their wall of fame.

They’ve arrested him several times. The problem is with the lenient judicial system. They let the criminals out.

New orleans has generational crime. I’d bet that this kids’ dad is a criminal and maybe even his mother. Maybe even his grandfather/mother. There are literally crime families all over the city.

Look up 3700 Cleveland St. That’s where it happened.

20 Blocks

It’s literally 1-2 blocks away from Finns

Not necessarily. It’s a fine line and that is very close to Finn McCool’s Pub, Echo’s Pizza, etc. still tragic nonetheless no matter the race. Someone’s wife died.

The area around Whole Foods has gotten better but Broad St gets really shady once you pass Canal (where this shooting was).

Either way, the victim was 63 years old. The TPOS needs to fry. LINK

The news this morning said 3700 block.

Either way, the 2700 block is right near The Ruby Slipper in Mid City

The news was wrong. It's been updated as 2700 block and you can tell it's by Broad St looking at the pics.

The couple lived in the back of the salon they run at 205 S. Broad. The car was parked on Cleveland.

Ruby Slipper is in the hood. It can afford to be because it is only open during daylight.

Would you call the courthouse and jail Midcity?

That Whole Foods location has always been a mystery. Banking on the medical district. Or as you would say, Midcity Medical Complex.

I'd say Midcity doesn't start until Jeff Davis.

Yes?

Pretty much everything north of I-10 and south of city park between Tulane and 610 excluding the 7th ward is Mid City IMO.

Lol none of this matters. An old lady got shot by some piece of shite who should get buttfricked to death in Angola.

I agree. I'd advise anyone visiting this fine metroplis (cough, choke) to be sure you wash your hands in rigwash thoroughly before you leave the city, else you'll get a really bad itch. Also stay away from dark areas......even in daylight.

As you were.

Apparently the suspect's girlfriend, the get away driver, was let out of jail on her own recognizance today.

She was only charged with 'possession of stolen items' for her part.....yep.
