What they(I am certain it's the White jurors) is that Dunn was 'justified' or 'not guilty' in shooting & killing Jordan Davis because he 'felt threatened' or feared for his life(a joke)..

But the other occupants did not threaten Dunn.

These fools believe Dunn acted in self defense in killing an unarmed kid ( who did not start the incident) ,but was guilty of recklessly shooting at the occupants.

Self defense bar is low. A joke.

When someone kills your minority kid (in a similar fashion) that you like to throw in peoples faces to prove your egalitarianism then you talk to me or better yet Ron Davis(kids very thoughtful Father/parents).

I have guns & have been threatened as well, but I am under no delusion that I would get off for at least 2nd degree murder for a stunt like that.

Even you & the Poli board /TD must be shocked.

He wants to be all Superfly/Black Panther/Tupac/Street Cred--- but in reality he's really more like Urkel meets Uncle Tom, so he overcompensates on the interwebz with The Race Card like some kind of Tupac Uhuru Badd arse Orenthal Mothafricka. The whole time he has a box of fig newtons and some milk in front of him.

Really? Look at how often opinions on these types of trials break on racial lines. Most of the white people in this thread are saying that it wasn't first degree murder.

I really don't know, but he probably needs to be locked up for a long time. I think folks should be happy he's convicted of something that can put him away for a while

Do homicides during an argument always end in first degree murder?

should have been manslaughter not murder 1.

quote:

Voluntary manslaughter describes a homicide intentionally committed while in the midst of a provocation. The prosecutor must show a sudden, unexpected event or circumstance serving as a provocation. As a result of the provocation, the defendant must have felt a temporary anger, heat of passion, or emotion that immediately resulted in an intent to kill or an intent to commit the act that resulted in the victim's death.

if anyone has followed what went down, the guy asked them to turn it down, one of the kids did then the deceased said frick that cracker turn it back up. he then got into a verbal altercation with the defendant calling him white boy and cracker and waving his hands around. defendant probably got scared and mistook the cell phone for a gun like many cops have who are trained to handle these situations.

florida fricked up again trying to overcharge someone. if they try him again all they will be doing is wasting taxpayer money.

Of course not. It depends on the facts of the case and the evidence.

I'm sure if any of you were there or in a scary situation you would all say something differently.

I'm not saying kill someone, but if society were nicer and didn't act like animals maybe they wouldn't get killed. White or black.

Sounds like a conversation straight from the PT board:

quote:

In letters from jail released by state attorneys, Dunn wrote, "This jail is full of blacks and they all act like thugs ... This may sound a bit radical, but if more people would arm themselves and kill these fricking idiots when they're threatening you, eventually they may take the hint and change their behavior."

Speaking at a press conference before the verdict, Dunn's defense attorney, Michael Stolla said, "This is not a black and white issue. This is what he would call a subculture-thug issue. It's not about race."

yeah thats what I said about this and the theater shooting. show some courtesy to others. both of the guys that got killed in these 2 instances were acting like assholes and then when confronted escalated the situation. that doesnt excuse the shooters, but I just dont see why people dont show some respect to others more instead of trying to act like a macho douchebag. it cost both of them their lives.
