If her story is legit, and she was just too scared/humiliated to come forward (you know, like a lot of victims), why the frick would you have so much resentment for that?

32 years is more than enough time to get over "being scared."

Like a lot of these women, I'm sure they were scared to come forward as a victim and also because they were accusing someone very powerful. The #metoo movement has removed a lot of those walls and now more women feel comfortable enough to come forward with their experiences. So how is any of this bad? Why does it matter how long it takes? As long as the accusations aren't fabricated (that would be an entirely different discussion), then this is only a good thing.

Blows my mind how anyone could be upset about this simply because it took her a long time to say it.

Not the first time I have seen you show up in one of these threads knighting for accusers with ludicrous decades old complaints. Can you point to where the famous person touched you?

Link?

I'm not knighting for anyone. If Douglas did this, and he didn't deny it, then he was in the fricking wrong. Doesn't matter how long it takes for the details to get out.

She asked Michael for a banana
Who comes over to somebody's house for a meet-and-greet and then says, "Can I have a banana?" What scenario or context exists where this happens?

I'm not saying it didn't happen, but if it did, there has to be more to the story.

#MeToo is not about legit sexual assault claims. It's about taking down powerful men.

The amount of hate, bitterness, and anger in the hearts of these modern day feminist is staggering.

I can just hear him doing this in a film and I can't stop laughing

Because the media assumes every allegation is true, and it is virtually impossible to disprove allegations after such a long time period has elapsed.

What if someone reported to the national media that you stole $400 cash from him in 1990. How would you refute it? Would you like it if everyone assumed it was true?
