My guess is there is more to her firing than just this.
Residency programs are governed by the acgme and have to jump through a million hoops to fire residents who are grossly incompetent.
If she showed adequate remorse, I doubt the acgme would let her get fired for a one off incident like this.

I predict she opens up a med spa, weight loss, aesthetic, Botox/fillers, pain management type practice.
It's amazing how many family practice docs do this. But many people look at appearance/marketing and don't look at credentials when considering these procedures/treatments.
Not that I would ever do Botox for cosmetic purposes, but if I did, it would be a derm/plastics doc and not an FP doc who did a weekend course on Botox.

Took them long enough. I'm sure she was one of those status doctors. She was in it for her. Hope she never gets to practice until she changes. Did she learn her lesson here? Who knows. Maybe, time will tell. Healthcare sucks enough as it is.

Maybe. But she was pretty hammered at the time.
She might've been referring to her "physician in training" permit, which is not a full license.
Or, since she was toward the end of training, she might have been in the process of applying for her full-on license.
In either case, an arrest or firing would donkey punch your career plans.
