First Caliente, then Los Reyes. Why did they close, rent to high? Not saying the food was exceptional, but it was fine.

LR wasn’t terrible in a pinch, but there was never anyone in there when I get to go orders.

Never found the food to be that good and prices were on the high side. You got La Carrera, Amigo Als, and Mi Padres all within 15 minutes from there and a lot better

maybe their cooks, but wait staff seemed to be college kids. My guess is rent was too tough.

BR restaurant business is cutthroat. Have to have both great food and great service. Either one missing can sink a restaurant. There are too many good options to be half-arse.

Los Reyes was pretty good, I will miss it. Their enchiladas were good, though they weren’t Superior level. There was never anyone inside the place though so it doesn’t surprise me.

Okay….but there’s a Mexican spot on Perkins across from Pennington. Always open, never any cars.
Gotta be a front.
Been there a good while.
