Her time last night, both before the vote and after, are damn powerful. I listened to it again today. Got to respect her after that. She's about to get lied about and drug through the mud. But I guarantee, after what she took last night, that she can certainly handle it.

Yup, I didn't know much about her until last night but I was impressed with her. Chauna and Gary have both launched an offensive attack against her and their people are attacking her as well. Hopefully, she stays strong and doesn't bow to the pressure these two are placing on her.

I traded texts with Tara this morning. She’s good. She’s shaking the haters off.

She earned a lot of respect. Imagine that- someone willing to stand up for what is right instead of whatever emotion response is happening at the moment....

Hopefully she continues to call out Chambers for what he is and starts to call out Banks

Somewhat unrelated question to all of this. Why doesn't Loupe ever have an opinion on anything? He's rarely there to vote to begin with. Does he give a shite?

He's a little bitch. Where Frieberg flips, Loupe just doesn't show up. I guess that is the only good quality about Frieberg is that she at least goes to the meetings. Loupe hasn't been to a single "big" meeting in years.

The Democrats have a point, and I am not a fan of it being tradition that the spouse gets the seat. I feel the same about Cindy McCain taking John's seat. However, their "concerns" are of racial and divisive nature and imposing their will upon a district that does not agree with them, which is wrong.

What they did last night is what creates the division they bitch about. Their actions create division, not those of the Republicans they always bitch about.

I thought they said Jesus was black, so wouldn't that make Judas likely black too?

Nah baw, didn’t you know? Judas was a Republican white supremacist who sold out black Jesus to Pontificus Pilot (as Chauna would say) who let loose his police on Black Jesus for selling cds in front the camel store.

So will Tara challenge SWB for the Democratic ticket or will she run as an Indy?

Reason I am asking is I may run on the Repub ticket. The black vote will split. 1st people on my trans team will be many of you.

Isn't that the whole hypocrisy of this?

On one hand they dislike the process to pick someone to fill the seat temporarily... On the other they are pissed they weren't allowed to use that exact process to steal the seat away from the voters that seat represents.

In reality, this shows their hand. The first point is just faux outrage they can hide behind for their true intent: hijack the council for political gain.

I don't think anybody knows what Tara is doing next. I don't know all of her views, and I'm sure we'll disagree on some, but if she governs like she acted last night, she'd probably do well.

As shitty of a candidate as Bodi was, he was only like 2,000 votes from victory. That's not a lot.

She got accused of this being a political move to further her career. She clapped back on that pretty quick last night.
