Remember when Landry shot this "child" on his property in 2013? And how after the public was led to believe Coulter was on his deathbed, he was arrested committing another burglary? He recently died and Mckenna declared it a homicide as a result of the 2013 shooting.
I'm sure he's thrilled to have this in the hands of Jason Williams.

WDSU recently learned Coulter died in February at age 21. The New Orleans Police Department and the Orleans Parish coroner have both classified the death as a homicide in connection to the Mandeville Street shooting on July 26, 2013.
A coroner’s spokesperson said Coulter’s death on Feb. 27 was caused by “complications of sinusitis and remote gunshot wound of the head,” along with “bacterial meningoencephalitis with subdural empyema.”
I'm sure he's thrilled to have this in the hands of Jason Williams.

If DA and grand jury could not or would not charge/indict with the shooting to paraphrase Hillary what difference does death make now.
Usually when something is upgraded after victim dies later there is already a charge if not a conviction on that original action that caused injury victim later dies from.

McKenna is the same person who just named Destroya person of the year.
If I’m reading this correctly, the “kid” died in February, 2020 of sniffles.
McKenna waits until Cannizzaro is out to determine the death was murder.
This is insanity.
The is a shot across the bow. White people, be warned.

Yep. Been knowing that family most of my life. Merritt definitely doesn’t deserve this. Jason Williams is a fricking con man so Merritt better buckle up. How the frick does he have this conversation with his 7yr old? “Hey, daddy protected you and mommy when you were in mommy’s belly. Now I might go to jail.”
This world is fricked.

According to the article, he was healthy enough to get arrested for burglary.

McKenna has a federal conviction on charges of tax evasion and the new DA is under federal indictment. What a city.

What were the facts of the case? I can’t remember why he was shot. Was he burglarizing cars or something? Media doesn’t say which leads me to believe he was doing something he shouldn’t have been doing if they are ignoring it in the story. Unreal how badly that article is written.
