Ok that is interesting because I've had that same thought that conditioning could still be done but at a slower and regenerative type pace. Yeh i gave up running completely because I was "advised". 61 here.

About 16 weeks ago. It feels good to be able to run again. I was in fantastic shape from lifting, swimming and everything else, but a 10 second jog would make my legs ache. It feels good just to be able to jog across a parking lot or something. Even if I never get back to regular running this is a blessing.

This has to be a BS story. Shark Week never stopped me, and, unfortunately, I had to have both my knees and hips replaced because of osteoarthritis...

I’m 6’ 1/2” and 172 lbs. I run in asics GT2000. I had to check the shoe because it’s been a while since I’ve bought a pair.
