Never apologize for your beliefs. You can apologize if you mess up though

accidents happen, but I don't typically apologize for accidents...they are nobody's fault.

The thing is "Accidents" are very uncommon occurrences, more times than not an event happens due to someone's negligence and rather than accept responsibility, "Like a Man" they come up with excuses as to why it's not their fault or someone else's fault or an "accident" where "No one" is at fault.

If you can't be honest nothing else matters.

Yeah there are some responses in this thread that I assume are serious and are examples of actual toxic masculinity.

100% posters in this thread with a complete lack of self awareness. I know i come off as an a-hole many times, but im 100% self aware and many times doing it on purpose to troll.

many of the responses in this thread are not that and show how common narcissism is in South LA. Which is not surprising. usually the least successful are the most narcissistic and least self aware. Louisiana happens to be one of the states with the least amount of successful people. This board is just a small sample size of that.

my question is how low is your IQ if you think acidents are nobodies fault and men should never apologize?

I have this thing about apologizing. I was taught that men don't apologize

If man is wrong than he should have the sack to apologize when he is wrong. What you are describing is a bitch, bitches don't apologize even when they are wrong and should.

If apologizing is a sign of weakness, what is avoiding ownership and responsibility a sign of?

If your wife ask you to apologize and you do, it don't count because you were asked to apologize. You weren't sincere.

I apologize when I’m wrong.

I make it a point to not be wrong.

How can an accident be your fault?? It was an accident. Did you do something wrong?

An accident doesn't "just happen." Something/someone caused it. It's called an accident because it wasn't intended, not because it just magically happened. Accidents occur when you don't think things through and make allotments and adjustments for contingencies that may (most likely WILL) be encountered. All accidents have a cause. If you are the cause of that accident because of failure to plan and/or prepare, then you are at fault. Ergo - apology should be the bare minimum requirement.

Yes, an accident CAN be your fault, and YES, you probably DID do something wrong despite your intentions.

Done right, apologizing is power and strength.

Now, these days the word has been twisted to reflect pathetic weakness cowering to whatever social terrorist group is demanding it so, yeah not that. Like I said, if done right.

I will forever be amazed at the amount of insecurity people willingly display on the internet

especially men and they often confused it with masculinity or bravado

its bizarre
