It was his quote that they hope they "stomp" him to the other cop in video 1 after those clowns tazed him, pepper sprayed themselves, and let him get away.
He did get his wish though.

Once again, the Memphis police chief has stated there was no reckless driving.
There seems to be much hope in this thread that Nichols did something wrong when to date there is zero evidence to support that hope.

Also, where are the police reports from the officers that were involved? Surly by now they have reports.

This board needs its ammo to continue to justify cops killing civilians. The whole "they said quit resisting" while 10 people sit on top of 1 person narrative is starting to fade as a reason to kill people bc of cams, so we must find a new one!

Actually the MPD is likely withholding the video and reports because it will expose even more of their unprofessional police work. They unjustly beat the man to death and it seems like there is a lot more to the story as to events that led up to the beating.

Was this the dude who couldn't calmly address a single citizen at a traffic stop, pepper sprayed his buddy, ran 50 feet before dry heaving and sucking up all the air in the city, and then hoped his other buddies stomped the dude as he rinsed his partner's eyes of his own spray?
That guy absolutely should have to find other employment.

I don't think its absurd for the public to want to know a reason he was pulled over? Are you saying these cops were so filthy they just pulled over random black people (even though they were black) and surrounded random people with 3 squad cars?
No one is saying the victim did anything wrong, just looking for an explanation of what started it all.

Probably because it didn’t happen. As of now, they haven’t even discovered anything to show they had probable cause to pull him over.

They are not showing it for one of two likely reasons in my opinion:
1) either he did something bad so showing it could make it look like they were excusing the beating, or
2) he did nothing wrong and they are trying to hide a more nefarious reason for the beating.
