He’s barely standing up, being held up and with his arms behind him, and one of the officers is just throwing haymakers to his face. Pretty fricked up

Obviously they were hitting him after tasing him and macing him but i don’t see how you can make out a whole lot more of what was happening with camera views being so shaky. Meaning what was happening exactly when they were punching him? How how can you tell if he was fully handcuffed and not still resisting.

I heard one of the officers saying he was going for the gun. If this man was high on something that made him seem stronger than he was and more endurance, I can understand why they were struggling and all running out of breath. If that’s the case then it becomes more dangerous for everyone in subduing and that’s when I ask when is it necessary to punch the guy to make him give up?

It’s so easy for us to pass judgment on people in that line of work when we’re not the ones that have to do it. That guy was clearly resisting and they obviously were struggling and I know it’s hard for some people to rap their head around but it is not impossible for multiple cops to have trouble subduing one guy.

I once was in a situation trying to help a few people restrain a patient and the guy was not that big. I was shocked at how strong he was and once he started trying to bite and I knew what diseases he was carrying, the situation became even more complicated. So im not so quick to pass judgment on people who deal with this daily and I completely understand that every suspect they deal with is not like the other. Most are popped full of different kinds of drugs that can alter their perception of reality and if tasing and mace doesn’t work then what? They just let them go? It’s a job I can’t understand why anyone would want, but who’s gonna do it?

Nah dude.....stop desperately trying to justify this. These were 5 bad cops and they need to rot in prison.

I’m not desperately trying to do anything. How would you feel if people you had to arrest would always resist cus they’re high as a kite and were completely belligerent? Let’s add that they’re kicking and biting and spitting in your face. Not saying this guy did cuz I can’t make out a lot.

I’m saying I can’t see enough in these videos to know if having to punch a guy is warranted. If they go in and verify that he was being pounded on hard after being fully hand cuffed then the officer is in the wrong and deserves some sort of punishment whatever that may be.

I would feel like the actions of other criminals wouldn't give me the right to immediately rip this guy out of his car and quite literally beat him to death....

ah....so as long as they don't cuff him first then it's ok to kill the guy.

They beat him to death AFTER he was cuffed.

It doesn't matter what crime he committed. It doesn't matter if he was high. The cops can't execute people on the streets.

Let me know when you’ve moved on to the next thing to be outraged about. I’m sure it won’t take long.

For fricks sake. Yes he ran and resisted because that’s what he was afraid of. I have no sympathy for any of the parties involved, but you fricks need to stop acting like this was some innocent honor student who was targeted by these clown cops

the OT and defending POS cops who literally commit murder

name a more iconic duo

At no point did I defend the cops bud, but don’t let me mess with your narrative you need to perpetuate

OK, just looking at that first video? Memphis PD ought to be embarrassed at the lack of physical fitness standards their department clearly exhibits. Those guys didn’t run 100 yards before they gave up and you’d think they were about to die.

I saw on Twitter it looked so personal because it was. The rumor circulating in the city that the guy was messing around with one of the cops wives. The truth will come out in court.

He committed no crime, so it does seem you are trying to justify the cops behavior. They killed the guy, murdered him in cold blood. PERIOD. And you don’t need to “make out” the video to know that. Geez what is it with some of you?

The news this morning stated a spokesperson with MPD indicated there is no evidence of wreck less driving or a crime committed at all. Just a law abiding citizen trying to get home to take a dump getting murdered by thug cops, who one of the cops had it out for. That’s it. No need in over analyzing it.

It reminds me of those cops in Marksville that shot up that guy and his kid for no reason.
