There's more anger in this thread than in Memphis.
Not sure what you expected.
Do you want a riot?
Memphis hasn't had a riot in a VERY long time.

quote:Except the Memphis PD said they found no evidence of the traffic violations these cops said he committed. And after seeing them throw haymakers at him while he’s handcuffed and wobbling, and also run up and kick him straight in the head, I don’t think honesty is a something that should be expected from them.
It sounds like he was totally out of control, that is, a lot more than just speeding.
quote:The police union refused to defend them, which said a lot before we even saw what thru did. Now maybe some of them will end up with lesser charges, but those who threw haymakers (and landed them) and kicked his head like it’s a soccer ball are not going to be acquitted. They’re on video literally murdering him.
predict these cops get acquitted. Then the chaos really begins.

Of course that's what they want. It's porn for conservatives.

The bad part was them holding him up as someone else crow hopped his head. Not sure this the split second rally cry you're looking for.

it’s pretty obvious he might be a little “simple”.
One of my black friends summed up. He wasn’t being mean or cruel. He said the police are used to dealing with thugs. This guy was a skater nerd and his words, “a back pack kid”. I think he had a small touch of autism. (My personal non medical opinion)

You'd think they were being filmed on COPS the way they rolled up and over dramatized everything.

one of them will turn and then we will hear the real story of why it happened this way
the rumors of brooks and one of their wives makes sense, these cops were part of a special detail and are no doubt close knit. but the charges are steep and that will squeeze the truth out of one of them

So you would think that they would welcome not having to be in a situation where those split second decisions could ruin their lives. But nope, they’re refusing to follow the law, and their excuse is that pulling people over for traffic violations is necessary for their “morale.”
