Memphis might be the biggest shite hole in America

I pass through Memphis on the way home from work sometimes. The last time I went there I was at the gas station next to the airport and a man dragged a woman out a car and was beating the shite out of her.
Today one of the locals told me there have been people going on the interstate at night and shooting at random cars.
I know “Dear Facebook” but can you name a bigger shithole in the United States? Maybe Chicago?

Nah Chicago isn't entirely shitty, just certain condensed areas. I'm thinking maybe Detroit or north BR. Maybe Philly

Baton Rouge, San Francisco (sort of literally?), Chicago, Jackson, MS... there are MANY.
But yeah, something like 37 shootings have happened this year on the Interstate.
We DID have a Tornado Monday morning do a ton of damage to the apartment complex that my parents (and I, obviously) lived in until I was 3 or 4. My how neighborhoods change in 45 or so years.

At random people? That's scary although that's happened in Nola East too. Not that much though.
