LINK

Article says the kitchen was caught on fire and received major damage. Hopefully they can recover from this.

Mel's food at 3am whenever you are drunk from either the Lafayette strip or Jefferson street always hit the spot back in the day. Personally my favorite "drunk food" in Laffy area

That's a good way to get away from a sinking business.

Now I can only get liver and onions at Piccadilly.

Odd that it happens at this time.

this is an actual bat flu death

stupid politicians forcing businesses to close and declare bankruptsy in the name of OMB and getting joe elected

this wont be the last to set their business on fire to get out from under debt with the insurance payouts

Last the news reported was that the video showed it was a malfunctioning grill. Fire started one hour after last employee left.

Jewish lighting strikes another restaurant during Covid lockdown. I'm shocked.

Unfortunately our horrible leader of a president didn’t think to help small businesses and now these poor people have to resort to burning down their restaurants to potentially save them in the long run.

I’m glad to see someone else use that term. I was thinking the same. Those lighting strikes happen all the time

You know both restaurants are good when the cooks are outside smoking cigarettes waiting for customers
