Nobody is coming to arrest her. However her comments do not exclude her from consequences from her employer, right or wrong.
It's very simple. One of the trade offs for her was to tow the company line. In exchange she got fame and lots of money. On her own, she made comments that her employer decided not to stand behind and so as a private company exercised their right to terminate her.
Now, she has the right to say I don't think I did anything wrong. That's perfectly fine, but her company has the right to say goodbye.
I agree with you on this and think the NFL owners should be able to do the same with players who chose to kneel during the National Anthem.

She had expressed interest in moving on to a different role within the company before this happened. Talks about dropping the 9 slot predate this.
So, she was on the outs. This just expedited the process. All that is left is negotiating. 1.5 years or so left on the contract.
