This is in no way enough detail. Is the mass near the ear smaller or is that side of your face swollen making it not protrude as much. "Eye swollen" means eye puffy, eye swollen partially closed, eye swollen closed? Pain? Pain upon palpation? Is the swollen area soft or hard?

If the eye is involved and it's worse than yesterday, I would probably go to ER. But they probably won't do shite since you are going to ENT tomorrow.

That side of face is swollen T first let's say pea size now kind of spreading to jaw bone (which concerned me enough to go urgent care). This morning under my eye is swollen like tear duct is infected but not painful just seems pussy or something went there but side of face seemed a little better

I guess emergency room would decide yes or no on drip antibiotics.

I am taking this serious but just wonder if it is better to see ear nose and throat tomorrow.

I just don't want to be stupid about addressing this

As I sit up eye swell down- I am assuming main risk is going in my little brain or pain from more swelling

You sure it’s not just an infected / swollen Parotid gland?

All I know is a few years back I suddenly developed a swelling on the side of my face similar to what you described. Doc told me to gargle with lemon juice to spur the glands into action and the swelling went down pretty quickly. Seemed you can develop stones in those glands similar to how you get kidney stones.

Likely an enlarged preauricular lymph node. This lymph node basin drains the eye, skin around the eye, area of cheek, and area of the temple. If I’m correct, this is a reactive node attempting to clear something occurring in one of those areas, in your case, the eye.

Doubtful. They can usually take care of themselves.

Sounds like parotitis behind the angle of the mandible. Try the sour candies or lemon juice and warm compresses. They could give you a steroid shot at ent office tomorrow

Keep in mind that if you go to the ER, you are likely not to be seen till tomorrow anyway

Find someone with some subutex and take a smaller portion each day. Buy two of them , they are everywhere and they are the easiest thing to use to get off other opiates. If your just taking the prescribed amount of pain pills then take you about 1/4 or 1/8 of subutex daily and steadily decrease.

It’s easier to get off of because it’s a long lasting medicine unlike hydrocodone. If you want to do it with the hydrocodone just take a little less daily
