I think people are slowly coming around to the idea that the established news media is biased. Hell they don't even try to hide it anymore.
That's also why most media tried to downplay or negatively associate the internet with porn, weird shite, etc. They knew that before long, they wouldn't the strangle hold on info dispersal that they once had.

CNN removed their Covid tracker yesterday.

58% think that "most news organizations are more concerned with supporting an ideology or political position than with informing the public."
I’d be curious to hear an argument against these statements. I can’t think of a single hard news outlet.
I'm with you. half the actors now flat out say that they are stating "their truths" about stories that have nothing to do with them. Not sure how that is possible.
Couple on top that they are all grossly politically leaning and do not hide it at all, I am surprised more people don't think they are full of shite. I would have guessed 80% on each of these percentages easy.

But then you have complete idiots like Lazy who believe whatever CNN tells them to.

You really would jerk trump off.
Did you really watch the news that much to know that is what they reported on all the time?
A lot of that smoke, Trump brought on himself. And if you want to talk about spreading bullshite news. Trump did it on a daily basis on twitter.
And if you really think that everything he tweeted was the truth then there is no point to even have this conversation with you.
He lives life like its a reality TV show. I know you don't want to think that about your hero, but he was not good for this country.
Nice MSNBC talking points there, douche nozzle. Please don't ever try to claim you're not a liberal again.

And the media will tell us that it is a problem within society. Not within the media. You see, it's all of us that are wrong. Not the media who all have an obvious agenda to push.
The gaslighting is about to hit an all time high.

I’m not for more government regulation, but they need to put the FCC Fairness Doctrine back into effect. Basically it says that for every minute you present one viewpoint, you have to give equal time to the other viewpoint. Half the CNN people would have to be hired at Fox News and vice versa.
It’s sad that I live in America and I have to go to BBC America and Newsy to get actual news.

Those #s should be hovering around 80%. People are naive.

There are like 3-5 honest prog media types like Greenwald, Dore, and Taibbi. From what I can tell, they hate the MSM as much as anyone.

Meh, you will just get scolded by the meteorologist because you caused the hurricane by driving your gas guzzler down the hurricane evacuation route.

Agreed. But 90% of the anchors on cable news channels would quit on the spot or their heads would explode.
Either would be fine by me though.
Could you imagine Chris Cuomo being told by his boss that he had to be critical of his brother's policies or lose his job? I'd love to witness that meeting.

Media needs to quit analyzing. Report what you know and offer sound or quotes from the various angles. We don’t need your conclusions, negative inflection or body language. Quit deliberately omitting aspects of a story. Quit muddying the water.

Isn’t it interesting that the left ends up with people in wheelchairs like Chris and we get Madison Cawthorn?

at every level, media exist as parasites to actual producers in our society. what a sad existence. yet not only are they not ashamed or embarrassed by their jobs, they actually think they should be revered because of how important they are to society
fricking laughable.
cut cable, turn your tv off
