Mechanics of tOT: replacing AC compressor belt

I have a 2014 gmc z71 with the 5.3L.
AC compressor belt broke and trying to get a new one on. It has no tensioner. I see 2 bolts holding the compressor and one appears to be on an adjustment track. Took that one out and loosened the other one but the compressor won’t budge.
I put a ratchet on the flywheel and tried to stretch the belt on it by turning the flywheel pulley but that didn’t work either
Any suggestions?

YouTube isn’t helping much. The guy using zip ties looks like it would work but he is accessing from underneath the truck I can’t access mine that way I don’t have a lift and the skid plate blocks it

Does the AC compressor not adjust? That’s fricking retarded to design it that way if it doesn’t

The tension might come from the main belt. Loosen the tensioner and slide the belt off one of the idler pulleys.

Should just loosen the bolts and it should budge. I think there are two bolts to loosen and then the tensioner.

Crap just looked it up you have to stretch it. You can use zip ties to help.

I'm guessing he meant front pulley/harmonic balancer since he doesn't seem to know what he's doing.

Yea I got it on using the zip ties.
Now compressor won’t kick in. It tries to kick in and turn and the engine lugs down then it kicks back out.
