gonna have to pass on the Wasabi flavored one.

I have several flavors that was gifted to me. Only flavor I can think of that I have is "Green Tea" flavor. I've never tasted them....have them for sentimental reasons.

Son moved there recently, working in a small town outside of Japan's 4th largest city & he says one of the first things he noted is the respect they have for their elders & teachers. Which is how it used to be here. Beyond that, all are polite, friendly and most seemingly work all the time. And he sees very few fat people.

Pocari Sweat has helped me rehydrate many times after drinking too much rice wine. It's legit.

I did in college, but she was from Mountain Brook, had lived in the states most of her life (dad was a Honda executive). I know one thing, Japanese dad's aren't too fond of anyone but Japanese men.

That pocari sweat is awful. Like unsweetened Gatorade.

I lived in Japan for two years, with a family, in a rural coastal town. You have to live there to understand. It's not a country of weird, outlandish people. It's a country of stupefying sameness, where the ordinariness of life wears people out. So these very ordinary people amuse themselves by doing all these things. It's a Fight Club thing.

The thing to remember about Japanese culture is that even all these crazy sub-cultural groups are filled with rules and rituals and social expectations.
