Yeah I'm not getting some of the outrage. Most of us have thrown live crawfish and crabs into boiling water and gigging frogs is a common practice in south LA.

Really we don't need the cyber badass in this thread. This is cruel, whether its done at one restaurant or 100. And if you can't tell the difference between eating oysters or boiling crawfish and this writhing frog then you're really too stupid to be on the OT.

Why is your response to my post? I said I didn't like the frog thing. It just seems unnecessary to leave it alive when they can easily stick a knife in its brain and kill it just before eating and have it just as fresh. I don't have any issues killing animals if you're going to use them for something (bait or food or whatever). I actually agree with you that people freak out too much about animals dying when they eat beef and pork every day. I still think the frog being alive is unnecessary though.
