The number of police shootings have nothing to do with the fact that racism is still alive and well in this country.

Again, there are active racists - KKK, people like the guys that killed Ahmad Aubrey, etc.

And there is passive racism, which is maybe more dangerous because it's a significantly higher population of people that think they may not be racist but still carry implicit or unconscious bias towards black people. These are the ones that think...."well I don't actively hate black people so I'm not part of the problem", and then do nothing to try to help solve the issues at hand.

I'm the first to admit I have these biases and I grew up with black friends. I work at a very large company with many black co-workers. I'm not perfect and if I don't actively try to recognize these problems in myself and then call out other people when I see them, I'm part of the problem.

I'm waiting for him to tell us someone hacked McMichael's social media, so we've gotta wait for the facts to come out.
