I think that I don't know Joe McKnight or this Gasser chap or their mind sets when their paths crossed well enough to assume much about either of them or their motives.

I think both probably had the same personality, both wanted to assert dominance, and it ended in a tragic event. Letting someone else win isn't a bad thing.

Yeah I mean the letter of the law seems to make it pretty clear for Gasser at this point, although we're still making a few assumptions to get to that point.

To be fair we don't know that at all. We're assuming that since Gasser was released, but we don't know what thresholds were hit for the self defense claim to be valid.

I got bored after page 3 of Google search for NFL RB assault.
It doesn't matter what other NFL running backs do. It only matters, for our thread, what Joe McKnight actually did.

Nobody has talked about the conflict of interest. The guy who raised Joe worked for the JPSO. So I'm sure many people who currently work for JPSO knew Joe really well. I wonder how any of this comes into play...
