Wrong. Have you not seen the cops on this board? According to them if a cop asks you to do something 3 times, you have to do it or else they have the right to beat and arrest you. Doesn't matter if they suspect you of a crime. In fact according to many on this board, simply disobeying or even disresecting an officer is a crime in of itself.

I know right. I mean, let's be honest here, those 100+ kids had every right to go into a private neighborhood and take over that pool. Seriously, screw those people that pay for the pool for telling them to leave. I totally would have started some fights too. I mean this is America right? Those kids DESERVE to be able to go where they want and do what they want. And the Pigs, let's talk about them for a minute, daring to come in there and make those kids leave. Those cops should have packed up and left the second the crowd started yelling at them. At least I know that I wouldn't want the cops coming around and telling people to get off my property just because I didn't invite them and they are tearing stuff up.

Glad we got that straight. We would all be better off without cops. Just let folks do what they want, where they want, without regard for others. Merica bitches.

Let's get some perspective here.

The kid already left the pool, so the crisis was already averted. The cop was asking the teen to leave a sidewalk/neighborhood, not a pool.

No. But we would be better off with behavior like the first police officer. Officers, like the one in the video, that are incapable of emotional restraint and civility do not deserve to be officers. Hopefully now that he has resigned, he will find a new line of work altogether.

So as long as you leave after committing a crime it's all good...

I personally think cops should start harassing, and occasionally knock out, jay walkers; it's a crime after all.

Did the cops knock anyone out, because I think I missed that part of the video?

Again, the police chief said the cop's actions were "indefensible".

Nope. But if you slam enough faces in the ground, somebody is bound to gets knocked out. Considering the number of jaywalkers, this is very likely.

Because actually doing police work without abusing your power is not an option?

The one cop was a complete douchebag and should've been canned or shained to a desk. The rest were acting fine and calming things down.

We should expect adults to act like adults in tense times.

He didn't "slam" her face into the ground.

Was he a little too aggressive?

Was he being a douche?

Most Likely

He pushed her head into grass, that's not going to cause a skull fx, hemorrhage, or even loss of consciousness.

@ you comparing a victimless crime to criminal trespassing and assault and battery (what the police where called for).

Charges were dropped on that one too.

Still think they're hardcore criminals and most defintely committed a crime here?

most likely?

the dude was put on leave, had to resign, and the police chief called his actions indefensible.
