the kid filming was white and never got told a thing the entire video.
A big problem there and here and almost everywhere in the south is we don't have community pools anymore.

How is this a problem? New Orleans has fifteen.

In the video I see a forty something year old lady putting hands on a teenager after verbally abusing said teen.
That's the problem with these short clips... Even with the tweets there's still a gap of information--who initiated, etc.

How did the kids act like animals?

Why can't all people be held to same standard? Besides the one cop this is only an issue in media because of race. If these kids had been white I would be saying the same thing. Would you?
I think all races are capable of following same rules and laws and showing same respect for private property and for authority in situations like this. Do you?

The rest:
Someone take that dude's gun away.

Someone needs to add "IN" to this.

I think the real issue is that the white people were having a nice event, and the blacks showed up and ruined it.........

I did not know this, I pay $500/yr for a club so we can swim.

Sidewalk had curves most of it appears to be further away from street than what most cities claim as a common utility area.
The mental gymnastics that you cops go through in order to justify abusing citizens..

How's Baltimore working out now with less cop presence? Crime is up I read. Be careful what you wish for.
So police get over zealous, kill a guy in custody, then the DA lays down the law for those involved. Cops stop all arrests in protest, and crime skyrockets. How is that not extortion again? Is what they do really that untouchable?

The reoccurring theme you state is being pushed by those with a political agenda or those who prosper with less cops around to stop them from harming others or those who always look to blame others for their problems and not truly caused by cops as a whole.
Um no. The recurring theme here is that police have lost public support that was once unquestioned. It's time they recognize that, and fix it rather than continuing the power trip, and just digging the hole deeper. When the police went along with being the blind hand of the state and tax collectors, the public safety facade started crumbling, and has been in free fall ever since. I can think of half a dozen things LE do on a daily basis that have zero relevance to public safety and everything to do about money. Want to fix the problem? Start there.

There are bad cops, but in general I have been glad to have them when needed. I also don't try and start confrontations with them.
Ah, so you'll only care when it affects you or your family. Got it. Carry on.

At this point it is not within the realm of possibility.
Kids have been told for a long time that they are special, need to be heard, deserved that trophy when their team lost, and have inherited a big sense of entitlement.
The cop told her to go away. She was going to argue and explain it to him in perpetuity. She felt as if she was in charge because she is special.
That being said, battering her is not an alternative and is unacceptable. She is a 14 year old girl.
This LEO is a Gulf war veteran, Academy instructor, training officer, and the VP of the local police union. With the exception of this event, he seems to have lived an honorable life. I am thankful I am not him tonight.
I bet we will eventually learn that the girl is a good student in a decent school in the suburbs. I bet her family is educated and works hard. ( I may take a kick to the balls on that though) She is not a thug kid.
And also, lower tier kids do not have respect for private property. Their thought process is See it, Want it, Have it. It does not matter who worked for it or owns it. It just matters if they feel they can get away with it.
So to answer your question, no.

She admitted on her Twitter she was not 14 laughed about it.
I think she can follow the rules just like everyone else.

How old is she? I just assumed she was young because she is not yet gravitationally challenged.
Her laughing about chumping the system and social structure that is going to bat for her forces me to knock a few points off of her value, if true.
Link?

I ain't reading 15 pages of this but I've got a few bullet points:
1. Sweet arse fricking barrel roll. Peppy would be proud.
2. This guy is a fricking moron
3. I don't disagree with him drawing the weapon. Ole boy tossed his hat and rolled up on him like he was about to fight. When will people fricking learn you do not fight a police officer? Especially with the hyped up news recently.
4. And lastly, who gives a frick about some teens in a pool? I want to know what merited the 911 call. Were they using profanity? Having an orgy?
Reminds me of that Bill Burr standup skit with the first all black swim team.

Yeah that is about the worst way to approach a cop, ever.
Ehh, this will blow over. Cop is clearly a hothead and some kids were probably being noisy or something, but there is a better way to handle the situation and there is a better way to behave when cops are around. Poor girl shouldn't have been manhandled or anything. Glad no one was shot at least (a poor consolation i know).
