These cops act like animals but that's no reason to act like an animal yourself. Changing how our government behaves should be done by calling them out, shaming them, and then effecting change through legislation, the judicial system, and influencing leadership. They should be held to a higher standard than what they are currently held to.

Also, the cop's children have nothing to do with this.

I would venture to say that most citizens of the city of McKinney applaud the actions of the police, in this instance.

Pretty sure the one cop was not the only person there acting like an animal.

This situation is in a nutshell what happens when people no longer believe the police are there to protect them. Seems to be a recurring theme around the nation ATM.

Except for the one cop throwing the girl down I applaud the cops. Situation with out of control teens refusing to leave private property who were confrontational towards police was handled and no one shot and only one arrest I think.

I am sure they will have plenty of signed statements from parents at the pool stating how bad situation was.

Probably went down something like this. Girl plans her DJ party at their neighborhood pool. But.....her parents do not go through HOA to "reserve" the pool. Yes...if you live in an HOA community with a pool, you have to abide by the rules and reserve it for a party. The HOA then puts up a notification that the pool is reserved for those hours of that day so that residents know they can't expect to use it themselves during the allotted time. HOA will ask how many people and other questions to grant or deny the reservation request. Seems none of that occurred here. So.....a bunch of parents and kids are enjoying their time at the pool when DJ Nutz shows up to set up along with the girl and her friends. Girl probably invited a ton of friends and DJ twittered it out. Pool reaches capacity and residents with their kids are saying WTF is this shite! More and more show up and the fireworks begin. White mommy start asking questions and words are exchanged. All hell breaks loose. Rambo shows up and does acts a fool. Threats and community tension boil over. Riots ensue.

I'd bet that is pretty spot on based on the rules I can gather from the pool in my neighborhood.

The police were there to protect the ones who had a right to be on the private property from the ones who did not.

How's Baltimore working out now with less cop presence? Crime is up I read. Be careful what you wish for.

The reoccurring theme you state is being pushed by those with a political agenda or those who prosper with less cops around to stop them from harming others or those who always look to blame others for their problems and not truly caused by cops as a whole.

There are bad cops, but in general I have been glad to have them when needed. I also don't try and start confrontations with them.

Pretty much, although news doesn't mention anything about the security guard, and mom getting accosted which prompted calling the police. Also no mention of thowing of bottles at people, cars, and homes.

Shocking

More cop logic. Truly disgusting.

Do you feel that way about people who want less government, in general? Why is the cop part of government such a sacred cow? Why can it never be reigned in and held to a higher standard?

They were also trespassing, causing a disturbance, under age drinking and several amongst the group assaulted a mother and a security guard. Property was also vandalized by bottles being thrown.

The minute he choke slammed a young girl in a bikini and pulled a deadly weapon on unarmed teens, he should be publicly ridiculed. That being said, he'll get death threats, which is terrible.

But they were on a public sidewalk

That's a safe space for anyone committing a crime.

They only two things wrong with the cops in the video were the cussing and what he did to the chick.

Both the cop and those tard kids acted like animals. Cop obviously should be held to a higher standard. The other cops had it handled until Paul blart showed up, but it doesn't warrant sjw tards going after his family or saying I hope his kids get drawn on. Any moron should get drawn on when you approach a cop in that manner.

You are focused one one small group with one cop that I stated was in the wrong (But not the other 11 or 12 cops) when majority of both were not in video. Even the ones you mention did not leave when first cops got there. Situation escalated and more cops called in.

Even if they did not know it was private property until first cop arrived why did it take more cops called it to get these kids to leave. Why stay and challenge them and get in their way?

I would be interested in knowing exactly how much of open area was HOA owned. Sidewalk had curves most of it appears to be further away from street than what most cities claim as a common utility area.

How about someone from your side answering why these fricking kids don't leave private property when cops show up and tell them to? I sure as hell did when I was their age. Bottom line is, they were on private property. This party they were/weren't invited to, was not sanctioned by the HOA. They were trespassing. End of discussion. Or if you want to continue the discussion, read the reports of the residents of that community as to how those fricks were acting.

And to address all of the bullshite about racism in this thread. Ha. What a fricking joke. Did yall notice that the OVERWHELMING majority of kids shown loitering in the video are NOT white? Go back and watch it again. You dumb fricks act like there were 30 white kids and 5 black kids, all behaving the same, and only the black kids were being harassed. I might need two hands to count the white kids in the video (not including the old people intervening). Where are all the white people? Maybe they did what they were told and got the frick out of there? Ever think about that?
