This was how bad my McDonald's experience was today. I order 4 sausage burritos and a small sprite. Total was like $7. Ok, i wait 9 minutes to get to the pay window. Get there "we're out of burritos" i said ok just give me the small sprite. I pay $1.09. Get to the second window and get 4 burritos and a large sprite. 11 minutes total.

A good way to have your food fricked with but respect the man for what he did. The problem with people pulling up is they get used to everyone complying, and then just don't give a frick about the speed of their service because, what is the incentive for them to care?
I wish I had the balls to do something like this, although I wouldn't film for notoriety bc that seems kind of dumb and trashy.

The spots are numbered, and not by employees taping up paper signs written in magic marker. The franchisee and corporate know that sometimes people will have to wait for their food...thus the spots. The clock the girl is referring to is likely measuring time in line. They probably have another metric for time to get food/complete order.

When you pull up you’re helping the crappy service stay crappy by tricking management into thinking they’re filling orders in a timely manner. Good for him and people like him. Take one for the team because I wouldn’t eat the food after refusing to pull up.

Without an accurate metric, the company can't gauge how/where to improve.
The breakdown is on the company for using the metric in a negative micro-performance way, causing employees to bypass them altogether. They'd be better off using them on a larger, averaged scale to find areas of improvement.
In the end it's all moot as it'll all be automated within 10 years anyway.
