The age of consent in Ohio is 16 so that also complicates matters.

The process is probably what they wanted after the teen brings them 2 videos of him sniffing her underwear and they couldn’t find an applicable law to charge him with. At least with this they can stop him from being around her or contacting her for now and get her some help.
Regardless of whether or not he truly broke any laws on the books he pretty much jacked up the excuse that he was just checking to see if they needed to be washed.

But I think literally any excuse he could come up with “such as suspecting drugs in her room” will get him exonerated. This charge is way more embarrassing than any actual penalty he will get for it if any

It took about 5 minutes to write that. Statistically there were .23 people shot in that 5 minutes somewhere in the US. I understand hyperbole but jumping christ in a handbasket? More than a single hundred people were shot by black folks in a random 5 minute period of time in the US (usual suspects is dog whistle for black folks, if you mistakenly used the term its understandable). Come on man, I can remember when racists at least tried to stick to the truth.....
