And looks like we have a wake low on the backside of the line. Winds really picking up behind the line in Tuscaloosa.

There has been notable winds behind this line since before it moved through Monroe. I noticed it when someone said they were driving there when it passed.

That same section of the line has been spinning up off and on since before Jackson.

This time it MAY have TDS with it.

Mark Studduth showed their live cam in CO on his video yesterday, and it had some pretty good snow on the ground.

About 20 miles to my south got a good 5-6". It's also down about 1500 feet from me.

I got 1/2" yesterday. Trying to predict the weather up here has been humbling.

Shelby County storm with possible tornado will go really close to the KBMX radar.

I was driving around downtown and north and east Bham earlier and shite started flooding pretty damn quickly. That was around 1. Lots of folks are going to have a rough time with this.

Looks like it is right on top of it. KMXX is back up, though.

I imagine NWS Birmingham is going to have to seek shelter and hand their responsibilities over to NWS Peachtree City.

This tor is a good reminder to watch those surface/near surface boundaries. The little bump in convergence helps, you typically get a little extra twist to the wind too.
