I dunno about that, but I don’t believe scientists telling me shite happened 30 million years ago by looking at rocks

, the Persians were totally the “good guys” in that deal... the Spartans were pederists and slavers. When the Persians came calling, they let you keep your customs, religions, didn’t take your women and children as slaves, they freed the Israelites from Babylonian enslavement, etc etc etc. But the Greeks won, and wrote the story.

This is kinda analogous to suggesting Ghengis Khan was a good guy.
Oh, yea Ghengis only slaughtered, raped, and pillaged us...but its all cool because we got to keep most of your customs and stuff.

That's not true. America is always trying to talk about the Vietnam and Korean wars.

We can't even agree on current events, and people don't think that much of history is either very one sided and/or completely fake news?

but he killed so many people that vast tracts of land reverted back to forest because no one was left to farm so he saved the world from climate change by changing it back!

I was speaking relative to the time period. Obviously we’re not talking about post enlightenment principles here. But The Persian Empire didn’t do anything on the scale of Ghengis Kahn from the raping/pillaging/total destruction aspect. Do some reading on the topic. I see I got a few downvotes from people who saw the 300 and thought that was an accurate historical representation. Hell, read the Bible.. it’s pretty clear the Old Testament Israelites thought the Persians were pretty nice folks.

You got downvoted Bc you are arguing that the Persians are the good guys for invading and trying to conquer Greece. Yes, we all know the Persians were cultured and sophisticated and freed Babylon’s exiles, including Israel. But how does that make them “good guys” when they were the invaders?

I mean some physicists believe that the entire universe could be a hologram. Literally our entire universe can be a lie so why not a little bit of human history

You mean like when Phillip and Alexander did the same thing? And then the Romans, the Byzantines, The Ottomans, the Dutch, the Spanish and the British?

Are you saying you’d rather have come under Spartan Rule than Persian?

I’m saying the obvious: nobody wants to be conquered, even if the conquerors are relatively polite about it. A nice conqueror is still an invader and shouldn’t be considered a “good guy”.

If I’m a Spartan, I’d rather be under Spartan rule.

Like most conspiracies it seems that the issue is that it would require too many moving pieces to work together in deliberate effort and without error. There would have to be historical sources from different locations that would need to be coordinated. Real world physical evidence that would need to be modified and covered up. I think at least, though I guess I don't personally have the evidence, that there is physical evidence out there that Rome is more than one thousand years old.
