"Master" bedroom compared to "primary" bedroom
Posted by Yeahright on 6/30/20 at 8:42 pm112
We are wanting to sell my dads house so we had an inspector at his house today and I started talking
to the inspector and I mentioned the master bedroom. He told me that he no longer calls it the master bedroom because his superiors told him it's no longer the correct word and that the word they want him to use is "primary". How far will this go? Does the MASTER lock company give in and change their name?

tell him you are the master, and it's called the master bedroom
if he wants to buy the house, then he can call it what he wants....
since he is paid to be there, he can keep his Woke message to himself....

Your inspector is behind the times. It's been "Owner's Suite" since roughly 2013.

I prefer "My" bedroom.
They are taking away language, not because they are insane, but because they are very smart. If you don't have the lexicon to say something, you can't think it. You can't think or dream without a language. Take that away from people, long term, and even some short term examples throughout history, is how you conquer people that you don't have the muscle to conquer the old fashioned way.

My son is twelve. Can I no longer refer to him as “Master”?
