you only got $40 for the whole lot? That decanter set seems worth more than that by itself.

Do you ever mess with comic books from the 60s (silver age)?

I sold the whisky stuff to a regular customer, so I gave discount. The knight helmet is worth about $40-$50 by itself.

As far as comic books, I’m fairly knowledgeable in them. I find valuable every once in a while, but not very often. I did find a first appearance of Loki (2nd appearance of Thor) one time. I paid 25¢, sold for $350 or so. That’s a $25,000 comic in mint condition. Obviously mine wasn’t mint.

I have a few G.I. Joes from mid 60’s that are the tall ones. No boxes and well used because we were rough on them.

My wife has about 50 original Barbies all in boxes starting in 1960 her mother gave her. No telling what that’s worth.

Barbies

I’ve made some really good money from vintage Barbies. As a matter of fact, this popped up on my memory page from 9 years ago today.
I bought a box (Libby Libby Libby corn box) with two Barbies and a ton of clothes.
This dress and matching jacket sold for $250. The hat for the outfit sold for $260.
It’s called “Roman Vacation” or something. They stole from Hepburn’s character from “Roman Holiday”.

The two Barbies were from 1959, in bad condition, sold for $200 each.
That $5. Box of Libby corn turned in $1400.

The value of the outfit has gone up. This one sold for $1200 (I had all pieces, broke them up like a stolen car)

How much do you think the Mork doll will fetch? That's a young Robin Williams.

I’m not allowed to sell here. I don’t even reply to a post when some makes an offer. The thread gets whacked.
