Is your thought that Paddock got busted and they wanted him to setup the buy or what?

Paddock has been running guns and girls for years and laundering the money through the casino. He has 2 planes and a boat in the Philippines, and wayyy too much cash all the time.

Because they can monitor his relationships, the FBI turns a blind eye.

He (who by description is basically an insane anarchist) finally decides he has more sympathy for his Middle East and Filipino friends than the US and turns.

My theory is Paddock was in on this, and the FBI was watching thinking they were gonna track an ISIS agent, when the agent(s) and Paddock enacted their plan.

You don't choose a casino hotel imo if you're trying to keep a low profile and play the gunrunner game.

is everyone forgetting the guy next door saying he saw a dead security guard?

still no interview with the "hero" security guard?

now sheriff claims paddock shot security guard 6 minutes before he opened fire on the crowd?

where is the couple that saw police chasing a guy dressed in a security uniform in another hotel?

Of course you can. The guy wasnt a millionaire real estate speculator. By everything I've read he was a sharholder in a company that funded real estate projects. I havent seen anything saying he was some mogul CEO doing all this work himself. He just invested ina company that invested in property and made some good money doing it. That's not that uncommon for people who have a little money.

As for the gambling, sure it says he won gambled with alot of money, but it doesnt mean he won or lost alot. If he withdrew 10,000 to gamble and left the casino with 9,000 or 11,000 that's not that crazy.

I don't disagree. I initially thought more of just a connection like the gun running put Paddock in contact with ISIS people, but not that this particular deal was being monitored.

With these changing stories on Jesus, a possible other Security Guard being dead, and supposed escape plan, a barricaded stairway door, etc., I am now thinking the FBI may have been on the scene prior, bt not in any force that had a way to respond to this. They got caught with their pants down and didn't have nearly enough to handle these guys.

What if the Casino LOVES the money he launders?

Also, Vegas is the PERFECT place for shady mofos to throw around cash. It is a transient glitzy city with tons of vice. No one bats an eye there.

I'd have to agree with this. And you definitely dont book a giant suite by yourself under your name with you players card at a hotel that knows you well. Especially when you have a home in the desert in seclusion.

he's not working with 100% accurate info to no fault of his own, sure. But to have a 200 plus yard difference in the lag times.... i mean, all the dead people were pretty much all centered and inside the venue... not sure that area is really able and big enough to account for such a vast lag time difference.

Lets not guess lets do some math. Using Google Earth pro I measured the front of the stage at 330m away from the corner of Mandalay Bay.

A position 84m away from the stage would be towards the rear of the crowd. That is 370m away from the shooter's position. Gunfire report would travel from the shooter's position to the position at the rear of the crowd in 1.0787s

Flight time to the position at the rear of the crowd I calculate using Strelok Plus ballistic calculator using standard XM193 ball ammo shot from a 16" barrel would be .51s

Flight time for the bullet to arrive at the front of the stage would be .44s

Time for sound to travel from the front of the stage to the rear of the crowd is .245s (84m / 343m/s)

Total time for the "Ricochet" sound to arrive to a listening position 84m away from the stage is 0.44s + .245s = .685s

Audio delay from the "ricochet" to the report of the rifle at a listening position at the rear of the crowd if the shot was fired directly at the listening position assuming zero delay from the "ricochet" sound would be 1.0787s - .51s = .5687s

Audio delay to a listening position at the rear of the crowd if the shot was fired towards the front of the stage would be 1.0787s - 0.685s = .3937s

That is a difference is .175s less audio delay.

0.51s - .175s = 0.335s is the new calculated flight time using the bad assumtion.

Again using Strelok Plus ballistic calculator a flight time of .335s puts the shooter at a position of 260 meters away from the listening position.

He can launder the money there all he wants, but doing the actual high profile gun deals in a suite in the hotel seems colossally stupid and draws way to much attention to you.

He didn’t say he saw a dead security guard in the hotel. That guy was outside in the crowd when the shooting took place. He also may not have sufficient medical knowledge to declare a visibly injured person as dead.

I envision one or 2 guys go into the room to buy the guns while the FBI monitors. They record his alan snackbar video, fire 200 rounds into the hall at the planted FBI guard (Campos), and go into the stairs (barricading them shut behind themselves). They spread out up through the Saudi owned floors trying to get to the Tannerite car, while Paddock carries on the shooting from the 32nd floor.

Yall think we are on to something, im just glad between all the argument about two gunman, this being a Government/CIA involved event whether planned to go this way or not and so on we are starting to figure out that this is all BS and we are being lied too, frick these a-holes just tell us we can handle it...tired of being lied too and for god sakes the poor families of the lost and injured deserve to know

I refuse to believe this. I refuse to believe there was a federal presence on that floor fully aware of what he had in that room and they allowed him to just gun into a crowd for 10 minutes.

I know this is stupid, but as cynical as I am, I can't bring myself to accept that there was a federal presence on that floor, with full knowledge of what was going on, and just allowed it to happen.

If our government not only allowed this to happen, but had prior knowledge of the parties, set up the meeting, monitored it, and had active agents in that hotel and all of them refused to stop it, then we are so far beyond fricked as a country I dont know what to think anymore.

He had like 30 properties flipped in less than 5 years?

And two planes and a ton of assets.

For someone gambling like that and enjoying Vegas pleasure to the fullest, it doesn't add up.

Did they find different ammo in the victims?

I wouldn't think they would regardless of the number of shooters, they probably would all be shooting 223/5.56. If the black helicopters were behing this, I'd think they would be smart enough to all shoot the same caliber.

Probaby, but if the FBI is watching already then it doesn't matter, right? What if the hotel lets you use service elevators and whatnot?

I think you are right, this wasn't normal course of business. This was a planned attack, not a gun buy that turned into an attack, but I am still having a hard time with Campos being there 6 minutes early and having no radio.
