I'm not saying I believe this, but now is the best time to do it if your goal is to continue the fake two-party show. The gun issue is really all that's saving the Republican Party right now. If they were to truly ban them, there's no reason to vote for Republicans.

Because the all out investigation of what happened is going to be controlled by his enemy, the Republican controlled congress, and President. It literally makes NO sense to do this. At all. If he was going to try something this dangerous and outrageous, why didn't he do it in the last 8 years when his side was in power. They could stand down a true investigation, and act with him to push through the gun control they both want.

Why would he wait, and do it now, when he knows the investigation is going to be full blown against his agenda?

I'm saying this to hopefully point out to some of you, if you're going to throw out scenarios, you owe it to yourself, and the rest of the posters, to at least present something that could POSSIBLY be reasonable. Don't just throw anything and everything against the wall to see what will stick.
