Yeah, that's the problem. They interpret it differently to fit their narrative. You can do that with anything. Look at the constitution. Judges interpret it differently all of the time. Bible? Same thing

It’s all well and good that this guy invested in real estate and made some bank but where did the seed money come from? Dude was an accountant and worked for the postal service back in the 80’s, he probably never made north of 50K in a year ever. With normal living expenses that doesn’t leave much money to invest. His dad was a bank robber, was all that money ever accounted for? Even though they were estranged perhaps there was a secret stash that was kept hidden for years that only the brothers knew about. Just spitballing because his work history combined with his assets doesn’t make much sense.

I've read every post in this thread. Thank you to all the posters that have provided accurate information and links. I have kept my mouth shut thus far because I don't know shite. I wish everybody else that didn't know shite either would stfu as well.

I think you misunderstand their intent. If they are turning some American, they aren't going to tell him that. They may not even be truly coverting him to the religion. They could give a frick as long as he kills Americans.

If ISIS has turned some Joe American guy, tracking down the network within the U.S. would take time and absolutely explain the silence. It still seems like a longshot though.
