It seemed like it was organized and thought out pretty extensivley, which is why we are thinking rationally and logically.

I will say one thing. Most of the witnesses being interviewed are articulate and seem fairly well collected considering what they went through. Lots of stories of strangers risking their lives to help strangers. A glimmer of hope in a horrific situation.

Who's David Letternan? Vacuse that's who made that tweet, not Letterman.

The motive was irrational. Doubtful the events that led up to it were. Some of us are trying to figure out how this happened, not the motive.

Not the ex late night host.

Yeah, and then you have that teacher who tweeted that she hoped only Trump supporters were among the dead. Not sure if that is legit, but if so, her arse needs to be fired and deported.

I just can’t think of a mass shooting by someone that was so well planned where the shooter didn’t have some “cause” or grievance. The shootings where there is no apparent cause like Aurora seem like they’re usually carried out by people who belonged in mental institutions. This guy must have been a total sociopath.

David Letterman? @DavidLetternan 8h8 hours ago
Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock was NOT a “lone wolf”, he was NOT “mentally ill”, he was a TERRORIST. End white privilege today.
Thank you David Letterman for providing your valuable insight into this crazy situation.
Another hint is that his @ name is DavidLetternan

Why did everyone just lay down or put their heads down? That scene in all of these videos of a sea of people motionless is blowing my mind. I have no idea how I'd react, but I feel like I'd be in full sprint at that point.

A man laid on a bunch of students to shield them from bullets.

We have gone through this today and someone got a timeout for it. I would advise you to STFU and talk about something else.

Psychology. Fight, flight or freeze Google it.

Short for perpetrator, just for future reference.

Its natural to do for one. But no one knew the shots were coming from up high until later, I mean I'm sure there were police at the concert so if the shooter was walking around on site the police would have likely engaged him very quickly and laying down would have been a good move by the audience.

I'd imagine a country music festival had the most resourceful people in the nation in attendance. A ton of cops and military were there off-duty, and much of the rest are likely good ol baws. They're not exactly a bunch of useless sacks of shite like Antifa or BLM.
Imagine if this shite went down at an EDM festival or some shite where everyone there is fricked up on molly and God knows what.

Did Blueboy get banned for his comments about "a bunch of rednecks dying"? Hopefully he did and it's for a long arse time.

Exactly. I wouldn’t have been thinking of a guy shooting from a elevated position. Would have went into duck and cover mode. People probably didn’t know what direction the shots were coming from. When they finally figured it out they ran for the back of the venue.

everyone froze, they didn't even know where the bullets were coming from. I'd like to think I'd grab the wife and run but you never know until you get in a situation how you will react. All I can do is hope that I will never have to make that split second decision.
