If he went in the water by boat at the Pejepscot boat ramp, he cant go North becasue of the canal street dam and he cant go south because of the Topsham and Brunswick dams. Even Sabattus river has a dam if he tried to take a side tributary. They are speculating he changed cars there. If he did shoot himself in the river, they may never find him. Its the wettest summer in many years, we just had 2 inches of rain Sunday and the river is MOVING. He may be in the Atlantic by now if he did shoot himself. Theres been guys where people saw them go in the river on a drought year and did a 2 week search and never find them once they get past merrymeeting bay.
On a personal note, if they wanted to stop these shootings, executing them medieval style publicly after a fair trial would be a deterrent. Hanged, revived, emasculated, disemboweled, drawn, quartered then pieces sent to capitals of the New England states for display.

Do y’all know what kind of boat he has?
This is crazy he was able to get away and not be found this long.
Anyone familiar with the water up there? Just glancing really quick, and that river runs up to Canada, and out to the Atlantic, as well as out to a couple other rural spots.
ETA: I was late by a couple seconds. Reading about the dams in the post directly above mine now.

Dude had a 20yr military background and has been planning this for who knows how long. It's not that crazy.

You can look on google map from the first shooting to the second to the boat launch. He did not have his boat at the boat launch. He would not be able to go far either way. He either will be floating at the Frank J Wood bridge or he had another way out of the Pejepscot boat ramp.

It’s been covered several times. Dam one way, rapids the other. He made a canoe out of his head in the woods.

Hopefully he’s 40 feet underwater or laying somewhere in the woods with a bullet hole in his head. Someone
with the skills he had plus a little planing before hand is the difference between him and a lot of mass shooters.

Yeah it is. How many bar, school, movie theater type mass shooters were able to kill double-digit people (at multiple locations to boot) and get more than a mile or so away from the scene before being captured/killed? They usually never make it out of the area.

I hope hes dead- if he really was hearing voices I've been told you hit breaking point eventually
But I keep thinking that hes still out there. Its a harvest moon, you can see everything at night right now without light, and word is that he was a redneck so chances are hes been out at night before evading the warden service (Bowdoin is poaching hotspot). I worry he will pop up later on for a second round- I would guess in Topsham

This guy planned to do as much damage as possible and planned to see how long he can run. It's an extended suicide mission. I wouldn't be surprised if he strikes again.

If what the SIL said was correct, he has already targeted the 2 places he talked about hearing voices at. There was also a report that a gun was found in the abandoned car.
If he's already hit the places he mentioned and if he left the rifle in the car and if he's still breathing, I'm not sure he will attack somewhere else. I think he thought the cops would have killed him by now.
but he's a loony bird so who knows.

Very few of them even remotely account for the "....and then...." part of the equation.
This is true whether it is a mass shooting or a "regular" murder. Killers seem to get wrapped up in the killing part, which is usually the easy part. Almost all of them pay little attention to what comes after the killing.

It's about body count for him. He's going to hit again, if they don't get him quick.

so many assume he had all this planned out to get away with it and escape. maybe he did, but i am not so sure he expected to actually get through the two locations. maybe i am wrong, but i am surprised he did that much damage at two different locations and got away.

He planned to go to two different locations it seems, so why wouldn't he have planned the next step just in case? He definitely has a death wish, wants to inflict as much pain as possible, but he's too chicken shite to ever pull the trigger on himself (probably thought about it daily), so this is a game for him. In his mind the world is to blame for his demons, so he's living out a fantasy at the moment.
He's not going to kill himself in my opinion.

1st call of active shooter came at 6:56pm from the bowling alley ..12 minutes later the call of an active shooter at the bar came in
It takes 10-12 minutes to drive from one place to the other.. something doesn’t add up here..

Be some shot of this guy killed himself in a cave someplace never to be found. That whole region will always be looking over their backs
Posted on 10/26/23 at 9:55 pm to pistolpete23
Sounds like he fired for 2 minutes at the bowling ally then sped over to the bar

Or strapped weights to his ankles somewhere deep.

Yep. Once again the national media has put out a fear narrative that these cops better hope they find this guy. Cancelling school and telling residents to shelter while pushing the agenda of getting rid of guns. frick them.
