At this point that is probably the biggest unanswered question. Sounds like he planned to escape and do this repeatedly with those different costumes and things. Also sounds like he was well known in his home town so maybe he just went someplace random to be anonymous so he could better able escape and repeat.

Maycie Breaux, the first young lady to die in this terrible insanity, is the lifelong best friend of my niece, Emma. They spoke just yesterday morning. Emma is inconsolable.
So very sad.

It's fine with me if they get attention because what happens after they announce a potential appearance turns the ugly into a beautiful thing. The good folks in the community band together to block their view. The good outweighs their bad. There are plenty of photographs out there is several different ways folks have blocked them.

Not unless they had ESP. They were both shot from behind, from what I've read. Another person in a theater with a gun may be able to stop a shooter, but only after the shooter gets off his initial rounds. By then it's is too late for some. This is a no win situation. It's almost time to start living as if you knew today was your last day.
