Somewhere along the way, something has programmed these kids to do these things. I don’t mean an actual “program”, but certainly some type of conditioning has occurred.

Probably tie fairly closely to the rise of FPS video games

This is why US should have wayyyy stricter gun laws. You're an idiot if you don't see the statistics of the US mass shootings vs other countries. I'm Conservative and still think that gun laws should be wayyy stricter and guns way less prevalent. I agree with Conservatives on most, but not guns with what the data shows.

What do you make of the gun laws we already have? Are they woefully inadequate, or just not enforced? I'm willing to bet you can't answer that question.

Mass shootings aren't a real problem. They happen once a year or so and it's super sad when it happens but statistically the odds of getting shot in a mass shooting is almost nil. Certainly not something worth making major law or policy changes over.

No. We have bunches and bunches and bunches of "mass shootings" every year. It is just that some people like the current poster here, Sauson69, can't be bothered to give a shite until it impacts "civilized" society.

Yes I know according the FBI's definition there are a lot of them. But for the sake of conversation I'm using the term in way most people do. Such as some psycho going on a murderous rampage with the sole purpose of killing as many people as possible in an indiscriminate manner.

bullshite. You can’t be conservative and want some fricking politician in Washington DC deciding which guns you should be able to own as a free citizen! All the while these assholes have armed guards everywhere they go.

frick you and everyone who thinks like you!!

You might be okay giving up your rights but I’m not.

I wonder what Colt Gray's father had to say about it.

Nah not really. A bunch of innocent kids getting killed is different than a gangland gunfight.

Ah so you are claiming that no innocents are ever killed in gang shootouts?

Every single one of these shootings every single one
when you look at the signs the obvious signs from the shooter the behavioral issues that are never addressed
because we have created this situation in our schools where a kid can never be kicked out of school for misbehavior.

When the kid starts to behave in a way that becomes a problem kick them out of school and make the parents address it

Because the laws that ban guns at school campuses aren't strict enough?

The laws that say minors cannot purchase guns or possess guns in Georgia aren't strict enough?

When are you morons going to realize banning guns doesn't work?

Why would we limit this to only mass "shooting" events? That's extremely dishonest. Does anyone actually care that their mass casualty event was committed with a firearm vs any other method?

Sure. What's your point?

The common usage of the term mass shooting describes events like what happened today, not when some innocent black kids get killed in the hood.

Careful. This mindset gets close to solving the problem.

They don't want to solve the problem.

I don’t remember anyone screaming for gun control immediately after Donald J Trump was shot at a political rally 53 days ago.

Funny how that works.

This, along with the breakdown of the family unit and generally not giving a shite about mental health, are the causes of incidents like today.
