I have hit ALL by accident sending an email only meant for a few. IT guys eat that shite up . Never done it with an obscene email, it is one of my worst fears though. I double check before sending.

I worked for a company where every congratulatory e-mail from a corporate VP would be followed by everyone in the company replying with their arse-kissing agreement. It was mind-numbing.

I usually send my assholish comments through text, rather than email.

Every now and then our HR department decides to start a short-lived daily mass e-mail unrelated to work, like health tips, uplifting quotes, etc. One of my coworkers decided to replyall with a single word: "Unsubscribe." Feelings were hurt.

I've seen it happen more often than not by the offender (usually and exec) using an iPad. I've never responded to an email via iPad but it must be confusing AF to hit reply and not reply all

When I work for a big corp the receptionist from home office in Buffalo would send out group email to the entire corp structure for "keys left in conference room come see me" "reading glasses left on copier come see me" "The break room refrigerator will be cleaned out at 3:30 pm heads up everyone". The email program would not allow me to block this crap and all of the replies because it came from the corporate server. IT was scared to do anything and told me to live with it. I would get 90 useless emails a day. Mind numbing.

Hate when corporate does that, although I work in the health industry, so health tips are anticipated.

We had someone email about 400 people calling out many members of management and staff a couple of months ago. He said he was done with this place. Security escorted him out shortly after

you're an idiot and should be automatically FIRED if you REPLY ALL to an accidental email saying please remove me.

Happens with my company at least once every couple of months.

Before I got to my company, apparently someone sent a global email to all 14,000 employees and was subsequently fired.

He allegedly said something to the effect of how fricking wasted he was the night before and almost didn't come in to the office.

Reminds me of when a co-worker received an email (work address) invite to a gay dating website that was sent via spam accidentally from a suspected gay co-worker. Freaked him smooth out. Didn't even want to confront him.

10 yrs ago. Financial services company. Regional Mgr would regularly send out congratulatory emails when certain products were sold. Well this one little entry level kid replied to all but meant to forward to his buddy and said something to the effect that "the next time the monkey sends out these emails Im gonna kick him in the nuts"

I'll let you infer the race of said Regional Mgr. But needless to say entryl level employee was fired. I was amazed at the CYA the HR dept had to do to fire this kid. Took a few days when he shouldve been canned on the spot.

Went to every office employee in LA, MS, AL
Dude was recalling message like a champ but too slow for all them reads

Had a co-worker forward a department wide email, which included a diverse group, containing a racially charged, yet funny hurricane Katrina joke. Needless to say she had a meeting with HR the next day.
