Something I noted was strange sentence structuring. It appears that English may be a second language. At first I thought it may be mis-prints but after they begin to ad up I think he/she may be an illegal.

I guarantee that had he been caught and/or charged, then he would’ve been kicked out of the lodge. Looks like the police, who apparently had him on some list of pedophiles (?), never outed or charged him. How’s the lodge supposed to know. That wouldn’t have even shown up on a background check (which lodges in Louisiana do run before membership is considered).

Absolutely, I am sure you can. And even if the organization handles the situation very badly, it does not mean they endorse pedophelia.
My response was to a poster who implied that Catholic teaching endorsed pedophelia.

Whatever else you can say about the churches handling of the abusive priests, it is disengenius to say that pedophelia is a basic Catholic teaching. That was my reason for posting that to that particular individual. Clearly I did not make my point very well.

This has nothing to do as to why the catholic church forbids catholics to join a masonic lodge. It is strictly from a spiritual standpoint. The masonic rituals are contrary to the teachings of the catholic church. One can't become a baptist, atheist, pentecostal, jew, muslim, budhist, hindu or some other religion and remain catholic. Likewise, a person can not become a catholic and remain a baptist, jew, etc. Not sure why this is difficult.
