My Pop was a 33rd. They were deeply entrenched in community service as well as the Salvation Army and Shriners. Small town of 6k but I've never met a really odd Mason honestly. I will say his funeral was a full regalia Mason ordeal, though. That was a little strange to see but it was an honor I guess.
