So, keep forcing them to go elsewhere. Yeah, that is the ticket.

There is a restaurant in Southern Mississippi I like to eat at. Since they reopened, they've really scaled back their menu, and took off a ton of things I usually ordered. I went there to eat earlier this week.....still the same. It will be a long time before I eat there again.....if I ever do.

When you buy the stuff, keep the invoice, then drive to the store, put on a mask and then go see the mgr/ owner and then show and tell him what his people did. Trust me, fukka will be sick to know he lost 8500.00 .

Places could stay open by not acting like zombie psychos about fricking masks. You require a mask and a customer forgets his? Give him one. Or let him pull his shirt over his face. Or toilet paper over his face. Or some accommodation that covers the mouth. But no, they’re hung up on sacred masks.

I mean, common sense says to have a box of extras. Not having them was dumb. But I wouldn’t say it’s treating him like a dog.

Pretty reasonable that if they ask you to put one on they should have one for you.

How many people are in an appliance store at one time to necessitate masking for everyone. Usually it’s about 20 people (customers + staff) covering 30,000 square feet of floor space.

I don’t expect them to have spare shoes or shirts, and at this point it’s not much different walking in expecting to get service.... so the OP is still being dramatic

But with it being relatively cheap to grab a case, especially for a high dollar low volume store, it’s an easy to have a case at the desk. One extra sale would cover the stock for a year.

Give them another chance... they are just trying to avoid a fine or avoid being shut down for letting consumers in with out a mask. They may hate it just as much as us but it’s their lively hood and if enforcement of a mask mandate allows them to stay open they should do it.

As a small business owner, I never, ever buy ANYTHING online unless I absolutely can’t find it locally. The importance of small businesses can’t be overstated.

Why are you on Social Media in the first place?

If you’re 30+ there is no purpose of being on social media other than being a mosey socialite. Your true friends will call or see you in person. If you are further Right than OBama 08 your social media could potentially get you ruined if you voice your opinion. Easy answer, delete it.

The simple act of keeping an extra mask in your vehicle is an insurmountable task? Id hate to live a life where that is the pinnacle of having things "figured out"

Wow. Same store, almost same exact experience. Only difference is the nice girl seemed interested enough in going to ask the guy 40’ away.

Letting potential customers walk out the door. I’d be pissed if I was management.

We are almost a year into this so you really should have it figured out. Don't expect a business to pay for such a simple task and inconvenience on your part. I spend about $200 a week on masks for people like this. They are not cheap. Also, these people wear mask for 8-12 hours a day. What sympathy should they have for you?

Fine, then. No sympathy needed. You uphold your strict mask rules and the customer will shop elsewhere.

This is the correct way of thinking. Instead people want to blame the businesses. I've had LDH in my place three times due to someone taking a pic of a customer going to the bathroom without a mask on. On one end I've got the government threating to shut us down, and on the other I've got people sending in those pics. I'm just getting fricked from both ends all while trying to keep 100 people employed.

Maybe the fact that he is the CUSTOMER

Maybe your online business in the future will do well.
