From what I just saw on the news it’s currently the largest outbreak of the pandemic. Even more so than when nobody was wearing masks. I’m no statistician, but it appears to me that masks are either A) No working or 2) Causing more covid. Thoughts?

We are about 6 months in of the "Wear the mask for 2 weeks and this goes away" mantra.

More testing is more "cases".
In addition, it's just spread to new areas. Generally from population centers to less dense areas.
Just running it's course.

Not exactly.

A lot of people have gotten lax about it, especially in large gatherings.

In Baton Rouge area alone--

--Outbreak for LSU team may be linked to Halloween party

--At least 5 high schools that I know of in the area have had to cancel football games for 2 weeks because of outbreaks that officials attribute to homecoming parties and Halloween.

So no, not everyone is masking up 24-7.

Tulane had to sign a contract with another hotel downtown this past week for students to quarantine at. Upkick all linked to Halloween parties.

I don’t wear a mask when out in about. The only time I do is when I enter a store. Which in Nola is every store. No way I’m going on a jog or bike ride wearing a mask.

Sure it is. Just like the morgues couldn't hold all of the bodies. Just like 15 days to flatten the curve. I don't know why anybody still believes the bullshite they tell us.

Oh, and we live in the freest country on Earth but they literally regulate breathing air.
